    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the technical efforts of the team working on specialized product offerings.
    • Analyze and enhance performance of communication links, addressing signal integrity and interference challenges.
    • Establish criteria for system-wide and component-level design specifications across all communication systems.
    • Streamline design, evaluation, and regulatory adherence processes within the engineering division, with a focus on specialized product lines.
    • Define testing protocols, prerequisites, and provide training to operators and technicians for seamless execution.
    • Contribute to team expansion, offering valuable insights into recruitment and providing mentorship to colleagues.
    • Institute and uphold procedural frameworks for design, evaluation, peer assessment, cross-functional support, and regulatory compliance.
    • Maintain regular communication with cross-functional teams on the status, potential risks, requirements, and future plans related to specialized products.
    • Offer technical design input and assessments to your team and fellow engineering groups. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as an Electrical Engineer specializing in communication systems.
    • Solid grounding in technical principles. Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams encompassing electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and production disciplines.
    • Track record of providing technical mentorship and guidance to fellow engineers. Proven expertise in both unit-level and system-level design efforts.
    • Proficiency in evaluating and enhancing sensitivity performance of communication systems.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with antenna design and analysis of radiation performance at an aircraft level, leveraging tools like CST & ANSYS.
    • Background in RF and Antenna design, including analysis of antenna coupling for airborne V/UHF, L-band, S-band, GNSS, and MIL-SAT systems.
    • Demonstrated experience in RF analysis, including frequency planning, RF Co-site, Antenna Coupling, and generation of analysis reports.
    • Knowledge of techniques for achieving EMI/EMC compliance, with a special emphasis on optimizing size, weight, and power.
    • Familiarity with MIL-STD 461 and MIL-STD 464 compliance requirements and test setups.
    • Experience in simulating, testing, and mitigating EMI/EMC for RF systems, subsystems, and printed circuit assemblies.
