Sheet Metal Apprentice Role

The Sheet Metal Apprentice at Upchurch supports installation work on commercial/industrial job sites, assisting experienced technicians and foremen with tasks like material handling, basic installation, jobsite setup and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in installation activities such as staging materials measuring cutting assembling securing components under supervision.
• Support crews with jobsite prep cleanup and organization of tools and materials.
• Loading unloading materials equipment move safely to work areas following direction from supervisors proper methods standards.
  
• Maintain accurate inventory communicate shortages issues to the foreman ensure efficient workflow adhere safety policies PPE requirements rules.
