    We currently seeking an Analyzer Technician to support our client site in Norco, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of analyzer maintenance experience and/ or previous experience with analyzer project commissioning/ maintenance activities.

    About the Position

    • This role would primarily be a field support role between Engineering and the commissioning team.
    • Provide coordination and support of engineering contractor and vendor field visits
    • Support Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
    • Support analyzer commissioning and loop check activities
    • Focal point for construction drawing/ REDLINE markups and turnover to Site
    • Support Analyzer System operation and maintenance during an interim period before handover to our run and maintain group
    • Ensure work is completed per company and industry standards

    Required Skills/ Abilities

    • Familiar with various Analyzers such as : Oxygen, Combustible , CEMS, H2s, Total Sulfur ,Specific Gravity, Moisture
    • Able to understand loop drawings and P&ID's
    • Able to understand vendor and system integrators drawing packages
    • Familiar with various analyzer maintenance software , GC portal , etc.
    • Able to maintain Siemens Maxum II GC's ( TC, FID, )
    • Ability to troubleshoot , repair field analyzers and have a basic understanding of sample systems and associated ancillary components
    • Instrumentation knowledge a plus: differential pressure and level transmitters, control valves, switches
    • Must have a valid TWIC card
    • Experience with Microsoft Office required

    Education/ Experience

    • Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Instrumentation Technology preferred.
    • 10+ years of Analyzer technician experience required.

    Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer with field work in plant as required.
    • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs when needed.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
    • Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes hardhat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, still toed shoes, or other equipment as required. Confined space entry into tank may be required.
