    Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a qualified SecDevOps (SDO) Engineer to support the Systems Engineering Organization within our Office of Technology.

    This is a remote opportunity.


    The SecDevOps Engineer will support the Systems Engineering Organization within the Office of Technology and around the efforts surrounding the optimization of engineering and integration processes associated with existing and new capabilities within the Leidos QTC Health Services capability portfolio.

    This position will work on the SecDevOps team and work closely with the Chief Engineer, the engineering/architecture team, and development teams to create strategies, plans, pipelines, and processes in order to test out proof of concept technologies that may roll out in future QTC capabilities.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Support SecDevOps planning and execution across all environments, to include AWS Cloud environments for new development, and data center/on-prem for existing applications/systems
    Development of micro services to implement new capabilities or enhance existing services
    Full stack implementation and support capabilities
    Creative problem solving of issues that arise in local and production environments
    Own tasks through analysis, implementation, and production deployment
    Work closely with Operations team to provide repeatable, automated process
    Work with developers to understand the code and configurations needed to build applications.
    Setup CI/CD pipelines with the QTC standard SecDevOps toolset and techstack
    Coordinate with Security team to support code scans and/or address security requirements in the CI/CD pipeline
    Mentor other team members through code reviews and one-on-one sessions
    Document processes and best-practices for CI/CD
    Communicate effectively across product, development, operations, and application security teams
    Participate in the introduction of new capabilities and the enhancement or troubleshooting of existing capabilities
    Develop and support containerized micro services within a Kubernetes cluster

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
    9+ years of relevant professional experience

    Knowledge of web security technologies:
    HTTPS, Certificates, SSO, SAML OAuth
    Experience implementing automation frameworks including one or more of the following: Jenkins, GitLab, shell scripting
    Experience using or implementing development & automation tools such as Git, Jira, Terraform, Packer, Vault, Kubernetes, Nexus
    Experience designing and implementing container-based applications
    Experience scripting and/or programming in both a Linux and Windows environment
    Experience administering Linux and Windows Servers
    Experience architecting and implementing solutions using container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Rancher, OpenShift, or Mesos
    Experience architecting and implementing solutions using private or public cloud
    Experience integrating SecDevOps pipeline with test automation tools
    Experience architecting and implementing infrastructure as code solutions

    Strong development experience with:
    Dotnet core based microservices, REST API's (JSON, XML), Containerization (Docker), Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)

    Exposure to:
    AWS, Linux (RHEL), Scripting (Powershell, Bash, Groovy), CI/CD automation (e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins), Automated unit and integration testing (e.g. Xunit, Cypress, Selenium)


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience working in AWS/Azure cloud environment, solution architecture with AWS/Azure.
    Understanding of AWS roles and permissions
    SecDevOps and operational support experience
    Experience with health system infrastructure architecture and implementation
    Fullstack Developer experience in one or more languages including .NET, C#, SQL

    The following experience is considered a plus:
    Jenkins pipelines
    Terraform, Ansible or Puppet
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC) architecture design, deployment, migration, and sustainment
    AWS Managed Services such as AWS Cloud Formation
    Static code analysis & quality (e.g. Sonarqube, Sqale, Checkmarx, Fortify)
    Container/Artifact Registries (e.g. Nexus, Harbor)
    Helm Charts
    Cybersecurity implementations
    Identity and access management
    Basic networking elements like DNS, Firewalls, SSH Tunnels


    Pay and Benefits:
    Salary range (level 4) - $125,000 - $155,000

    Other levels may be considered:

    Level years of experience:
    $105,000 - $125,000

    Level years of experience:
    $160,000 - $185,000
