- Recognizes the existence of cultural differences and utilizes appropriate resources available throughout the hospital to respond to the needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient, family member and/or visitor.

- Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of nursing assistant/medical technician/PCT program preferred.
- Experience : One year clinical related experience preferred, (i.e., nursing assistant, medical technician, PCT). Endoscopy experience and/or respiratory experience preferred.
- Job Knowledge : Must have sufficient understanding of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology as well as familiarity with basic clinical skills, ability to acquire and maintain technical skills, ability to maintain endoscopes and other equipment. Must have sufficient knowledge and skills to operate the hospital information system and computer systems.
