Five9 is actively seeking a Program Coordinator role for our Product Engineering team. This person will be liaise with program managers and stakeholders to define program requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with the Product Engineering organizational goals. You will be responsible for driving the success of key projects within our Product Engineering organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with program managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget. You will analyze program progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results. Additionally, you will play a vital role in building the skill sets of team members and sharing learnings with other employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your ability to achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices will be crucial. Overall, you will manage projects within the defined scope, driving their success and contributing to the overall success of Five9. This dynamic position will be based in our San Ramon, CA headquarters, offering a hybrid work model with three office days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays), providing a balance for collaboration and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistance to management and Technical Program Managers in request management, project prioritization, resource allocation, and regular portfolio reviews.
Research, collect and evaluate project data necessary to meet project reporting and evaluation requirements.
Provide technical assistance to management and Technical Project Managers in the creation of program scope and program documentation.
Develop, maintain, update, and oversee program plans and schedules using tools established by the organization.
Serve as liaison between the PMO and the stakeholders concerning requests, standards, expectations, and other program and project matters.
Follow the PMO initiative change control process including JIRA and Confluence updates to manage and track changes in the initiative's scope.
Identify and document project issues and risks in program plans and escalate to management.
Maintain program issue and risk process and/or defect logs.
Monitor and maintain the project communication plan and process.
Monitor initiative performance, report status, and facilitate the creation of action plans to promote adherence to program schedules.
Create program dashboards and reports to tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones.
Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and project management techniques.
Provide recommendations for improvement of program management processes currently in use.
Performs related work as assigned.
Ensure that all aspects of a project are organized and in conformance with timeline and deliverables requirement
Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to project work plan
Serve as point of communication between company teams and external resources

Requirements:

3+ more years of experience in project coordination.
Experience in coordinating teams and individuals.
Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field.
Professional certification: CAPM, PMP or equivalent.

Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

All compensation and benefits are subject to the requirements and restrictions set forth in the applicable plan documents and any written agreements between the parties.

The US base salary range for this role is below. $67,200—$125,700 USD
