    Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists for full-time positions within school districts in the Kansas City, Kansas area for the school year. We are looking for passionate individuals who are dedicated to supporting students' communication and language development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language skills.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social success.
    • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy goals and strategies as needed.
    • Provide consultation and training to teachers and staff on strategies to support students' communication skills in the classroom.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
    • Stay current on best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology through professional development activities.

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Kansas.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
    • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Knowledge of local and state regulations governing the practice of speech-language pathology in schools.
