Data Governance Intern - Digital Banking (May to Aug SeaMoney)

Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)

Support the Data Portal access management:
Liaise with requesters on the requests received
Verification of approval(s)
Update access application manual and user access matrix in a timely manner
Work with Data Product team to guide the requestor in submitting the requests in Data Portal

Assist in Data Warehouse (DWH) tool enhancements:
Consolidate DWH tool requests within the team and from other stakeholders
Draft Business Requirement Documentations (BRDs) for DWH tool requests
Communicate the business enhancement requests with the Product Managers and Software Engineers for alignment, and provide feedback to business stakeholders after feasibility study and prioritisation by PMs and DEVs
Review and refine UAT test cases for feature enhancements
Execute UAT test cases and follow up with PMs and QAs for any defects noted

Support Data Quality management and testing:

Close interaction with business teams to understand the business requirements and assist in translating into technical data quality rules/ SQL scripts in the system.

Conduct testing on feasibility of technical data quality rules and SQL scripts and communicating relevant feedback to business teams
Update data quality rule inventory with the latest rule and status

Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline, preferably technology or business-related subjects is recommended (e.g. Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics and Computer Science)
Strong interest in Data Governance practices and policies
Self-driven, curious, a fast-learner and a strong practitioner of self-development
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and manage cross-functional teams
Analytical and problem-solving mindset with ability to break down high-level requirements into actionable solutions
Knowledge in the Financial industry through university courses or prior internships will be an added advantage
Basic SQL knowledge will be a strong plus
