    Description
    Duties


    • Serve as liaison between Soldiers and the installation finance and military personnel directorate for personnel management functions.
    • Act as a point of contact on questions concerning regulations, policies, practices, and theories as they pertain to Military Human Resources management programs.
    • Maintain and control suspension of favorable personnel actions for all enlisted and officer military personnel under disciplinary actions.
    • Maintain the Unit Off-Duty Employment (ODE) program, the Army Disaster Personnel Accountability and Assessment System (ADPASS) database and the Individual Mobilization Augmentation (IMA) Program.
    • Survey and recommend improvements to existing programs and/or develops new means of collecting and displaying data.
    • Verify that each soldiers pay and entitlements are correct on the Unit Commanders Finance Report (UCFR) and that any allotments started or stopped have been noted on the leave and earning statement
    Requirements Conditions of Employment


    • This position requires you to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance of access for the duration of employment which includes a background investigation and credit check.
    • This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel approximately 5% of the time away from your permanent duty station

    Specialized Experience:
    One year of specialized experience which includes 1) making revisions to records/files in accordance with regulations; 2) verifying data utilizing automated systems; AND 3) performing complete review of records to ensure accuracy
    This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06)
    Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify
    For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted

    Proficiency Required:
    This position requires a qualified typist
    A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors

    Time in Grade Requirement:
    Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06)
