    ABOUT THIS POSITION

    This position will provide technical expertise and bench top testing in support of the manufacturing operations of medical device solutions for treating obstructive sleep apnea. The engineering technician will perform product testing, root cause analysis, fixture building, and work with engineers from multiple disciplines.

    OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

    Position will spend a large majority of time in the engineering lab supporting the manufacturing team.

    • Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing and engineering equipment including electrical and mechanical fixturing.
    • Build and/or repair manufacturing and engineering equipment based on system assembly drawings and schematics.
    • Conduct and document activities on a variety of technical tasks such as assembly, disassembly, and test of electronic and mechanical systems.
    • Support the tracking and maintaining of calibrated equipment in the lab and manufacturing environments.
    • Work with external vendors in support of manufacturing lines and test equipment.
    • Organize and maintain manufacturing lab tools, equipment, spare parts, and supplies.
    • Support equipment debugging, product root cause analysis, and supplier management
    • Perform testing utilizing oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMM, etc.
    • Support post market (commercial) product and/or therapy related investigations as well as returned product analysis activities
    • Perform other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed.

    Required Qualifications

    • 2 year associates degree in technical field
    • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
    • Proficient in component soldering including surface mount and through hole components.
    • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in medical device or other regulated industry manufacturing and/or testing.
