Job Title

The Scanning Team Member will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely pricing in the store.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain excellent customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
2. Promote a high level of morale within the department and store by utilizing open and honest communication methods.
3. Maintain good working relationships with other department managers to improve sales storewide.
4. Ensure compliance with all company policies, programs, and directives as specified in the Code of Conduct.
5. Provide professional examples for other team members to follow.
6. Coordinate with the Store Leader for the training of all team members involved with scanning.
7. Test, verify, and scan all UPC marked items in the store on a rotation basis.
8. Ensure changes for all prices marked on items, shelf tags, and in-store signs are accurate and up-to-date.
9. Contribute to the profits and revenues of the store by continually monitoring pricing for errors and ensuring they are corrected immediately.
10. Maintain adequate and appropriate department records at all times.
11. Supervise repairs and maintenance of scanning equipment.

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills required.
• Previous experience as a cashier is required.
• Supervisor skills preferred.

Estimated Salary Range:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
