    Computed Tomography Technologist

    This role involves the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. Responsibilities include explaining examination procedures, preparing patients for examinations, and reviewing clinical data.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform CT scans, analyzing anatomical structures and manually controlling equipment to obtain proper diagnostic information.
    • Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor patients for possible reactions.
    • Prepare sterile equipment, monitors, and supplies required for procedures.
    • Assist radiologists in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies.
    • Ensure high-quality image delivery into PACS and complete study indexing in RIS.

    Requirements:
    • Meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities and standards.
    • Possess personal qualities such as self-direction, flexibility, and a commitment to teamwork.
    • Demonstrate customer service values and possess initiative, willingness to learn, and open-mindedness.

    Work Environment:
    This position may work in a hospital setting with fixed units or ambulatory mobile units. Potential exposure to radiation requires adherence to proper precautions. May be exposed to high-voltage equipment and potentially contagious patients. Occasionally may lift and/or move equipment and/or patients exceeding 10 pounds.
