THE CLUB AT KUKUI`ULA

Our name "Kukui`ula" is the place name of our location on Kauai's southern shore, near world-famous Poipu Beach. Kukui`ula comes from two Hawaiian words: kukui, or candlenut - a traditional Hawaiian source for lighting oil - and 'ula, which means "red". In ancient Kauai, Kukui`ula served as a place to burn the kukui nut oil at night, its red glow guiding seafarers safely back to shore.

Just as in ancient times, modern-day Kukui`ula is a place that draws you in. It's a place for our club members and guests to come back home to, to recharge, reset and live well.

Role Overview

The Recreation Host position at The Club at Kukui'ula serves as the primary point of contact for club members and guests upon their arrival. This role requires a charismatic and welcoming demeanor while assisting with valet services, overseeing rental equipment checkouts, and supporting bike fleet management in collaboration with the Cycle Liaison. The Recreation Host plays a dynamic role by contributing to various club programs and activities as necessary. These offerings are presented as both scheduled calendar events and personalized booked services, enhancing the experience for members and guests. Additionally, the Recreation Host plays a role in facilitating food delivery services within the establishment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a charismatic and welcoming attitude
• Proficiency in valeting vehicles and managing rental equipment
• Collaborative approach to assisting the Cycle Liaison in bike fleet management
• Flexibility to actively participate in diverse club programming and activities
• Ability to coordinate calendar events and offer personalized services
• Familiarity with food delivery procedures

Requirements

• Adequate physical fitness to manage the demands of an outdoor, fast-paced role
• Strong teamwork and service orientation
• Effective communication with both members and colleagues
• Capability to collaborate seamlessly across multiple departments
• Preferred background in an active lifestyle with a passion for programming development and execution
  

Salary Range

$21.04 to $24.75 per hour.
