    Total Rewards & People Operations Analyst

    Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid:
    Tuesday through Thursday in-office required. Not a remote role)

    Salary range:
    $90,000 - $105,000


    SI-BONE is focused on helping patients in one of the most under-served, under-diagnosed, and under-treated areas in orthopedics, the sacroiliac (SI) joint.

    SI-BONE developed an innovative, patented implant to fuse the SI joint.

    The iFuse Implant System provides a less invasive alternative to traditional sacroiliac (SI) joint fusion surgery and has been used in over 90,000 procedures to date.

    We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Analyst to join our growing People & Culture team.

    In this role, you will play a key role in supporting our Total Rewards strategy by providing insightful data analysis and contributing to continuous improvement of our systems and processes.

    • Job Benchmarking and Compensation Analysis:
    • Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
    • Prepares and maintains job classifications and salary scales.
    • Analyzes and interprets compensation data to identify trends and outliers.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys and other sources.
    • Conducts data and cost analyses to support Total Rewards strategy.
    • Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis, compensation analysis, and benefits data.
    • Utilizes data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to effectively communicate insights.
    • Benefits Administration and Research:
    • Research employee benefits in similar industries to ensure competitiveness.
    • Recommends changes or updates to the company's benefits or policies based on research and employee feedback.
    • Analyzes employee feedback on benefits and compensation to identify areas for improvement.
    • Systems and Process Improvement:
    • Evaluates and implements job analysis instruments and materials.
    • Identifies opportunities for streamlining People & Culture processes and developing efficient workflows.
    • Maintains and improves HR information systems (HRIS) data integrity.
    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics or a related field required.
    Experience/Qualifications

    • 2-4 years of experience as a compensation analyst, people analytics or a similar role

    Skills:

    • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
    • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Working knowledge of compensation and benefits principles
    • Experience with job benchmarking and salary structure development
    • Understanding of market research methodologies and data interpretation
    • HR Systems and Processes:
    • Experience working with HR information systems (HRIS)
    • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and streamline workflows
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
    • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different departments
    • Strong presentation skills to deliver data insights clearly and concisely
    Please note that this is not a remote role. Candidates must reside in the SF Bay Area.

    Salary range:
    $90,000 - $105,000

The compensation range for this position is specific to the location and is in good faith what SI-BONE expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
