    Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to leverage our extensive data resources in delivering actionable business insights through analytics, predictive modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a robust technology background with advanced expertise in data analytics and the development and deployment of predictive models. We are looking for a motivated individual capable of contributing to the delivery of next-generation solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, test, deploy, and monitor analytics products and predictive models, encompassing data engineering, analysis, and AI/ML/NLP.
    • Address the analytical needs of internal and external stakeholders by delivering high-value analysis, reports, dashboards, and electronic files as required.
    • Lead and participate in high-value data science projects, from defining deliverables to executing efficient project tasks, ensuring proper documentation, and integrating results into business processes.
    • Implement automated solutions to monitor and optimize the performance of analytical products, identifying opportunities for model retraining or new solutions.
    • Design and conduct well-documented experiments to explore novel uses of internal and external data for business value generation.
    • Stay updated with AI and ML best practices relevant to the company's initiatives, sharing insights with the team and contributing to the refinement of group practices.
    • Conduct formal peer reviews of data science projects and collaborate on cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative analytics and data science solutions.
    • Provide mentorship to junior team members and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Advanced degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, or related fields, with significant coursework in advanced mathematics, statistics, and/or data science.
    • 4 to 7 years of business experience as a data scientist or in a related field.
    • Strong curiosity and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
    • Advanced understanding of statistical and machine learning algorithms, with intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of natural language processing.
    • Proficiency in following data visualization and coding best practices.
    • Experience in project management, including breaking down projects into deliverables, setting timelines, and providing accurate status reports.
    • Significant experience working with large databases for analytical purposes, including transactional systems and data warehouse systems.
    • Intermediate-to-Advanced level proficiency in SQL Databases and programming languages like Python and/or R.
    • Knowledge of information technology practices related to data, ETL processes, data mining, and project management methodologies such as Agile.
    • Experience with code management and version control techniques.
    • Intermediate experience with UNIX and Docker.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
