    We are looking to add a new Midlevel Provider to our quickly growing clinic (NP/PA)

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Address patients' clinical concerns (symptom reporting, medication refills, lab clarification).
      • Address critical lab/imaging results with patients. Re-route medications to pharmacies (including controlled-substances) as needed.
      • Assist with clinical operational tasks such as referrals, lab/imaging orders, provider letters, and medical forms.
      • Serve as a clinical resource and professional role model for other staff and assist with coaching of newly hired providers.
      • Reduce conflict and increase patient satisfaction whenever possible through timely response to patient phone calls, chats and tasks. Conduct medical chart reviews.
      • Maintain accurate, clear and concise progress notes, problem lists, and medication lists.
      • Provide patient education regarding disease management, therapies and healthful behaviors.
      • Communicate appropriately and tactfully with staff, consultants, patients, significant others, and community.
      • Participate in staff, planning, in-service, and other meetings as needed.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Board Certified Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner
    • Active license in Tennessee and willingness to be licensed in other states as we grow
    • Active DEA with all schedules and in good standing
    • Willingness to learn how to diagnose and treat Chronic Kidney Disease

    COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS

      • Typical Schedule is Monday through Thursday 8AM-4:30PM, Friday 8AM-1PM
      • Must be able to work ONE WEEKEND DAY per month between 9AM - 5PM
      • Must have availability M-F to cover shifts between 6AM - 9PM
