- Oversee ship logistics in over 80 countries, with 468 turns and 2,029 transit calls annually, excluding Asia, Australia/New Zealand, and the South Pacific.
- Manage three port managers, ensuring they meet job responsibilities by providing vision, motivation, and leadership.
- Maintain relationships with agencies globally, ensuring performance and adherence to contracts.
- Work on port operations planning to reduce costs wherever possible.
- Negotiate with Port Authorities for agreements and infrastructure improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams for waste offloading processes.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and new agents/vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 10+ years' experience in management with port-related and marine operations experience.
- Proficiency in port operations and customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve complex issues.
- Experience working across cultures and geographies.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and port operation systems.
