Job Description

1. Linux Administration.

Understanding of basic concepts and commands.

OS installation

Understanding of RAID, LVM and filesystem management

User management including LDAP

Package management

Linux network configuration including bonding.

Administration and troubleshooting of NFS, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SNMP.

Basic understanding of network fundamentals and troubleshooting including IP addressing, VLANs etc.

Basic scripting skills with Bash/Python

2. Virtualization

Experience with Virtualization technologies like VMWare

3. Hardware

Experience in working with different server hardware like Dell, HPE etc.

Exposure in racking and cabling physical servers.

Exposure with Data center environment.

4. Basic understanding of Windows servers and Active Directory.

Good to have following skills but not mandatory.

Configuration Management tools like Ansible/Puppet/Chef.

Experience with any one Enterprise Storage systems like NetApp/EMC/3PAR.

Experience with any one Backup solutions like NetBackup/Veeam.

Exposure to automations tools like packer/terraform.
