    Job Description

    Title: Senior Embedded Test Engineer
    Location: Onsite in LISLE

    Experience Level: Over 6 years
    Experience with Automotive or Vehicle clients is required

    Senior QA Skills: Automotive - Manual/Automation Testing

    • Test Plan creation with comprehensive coverage of features testing and detailed test cases writing
    • Specialization in Embedded Testing
    • Testing methodologies involved in all stages of STLC
    • Understanding of Automotive concepts like SEI Standards, PGN, SPN, CAN data
    • Defect analysis and implementation of Requirements traceability matrix
    • Hands-on experience in Agile methodology
    • Familiarity with Automotive protocol (CAN, LIN) and tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, ECU hardware, Calibration
    • Troubleshooting through analysis of service logs and CAN logs for data points
    • Reviewing BRD documents and Service specs to formulate test scenarios and cases
    • Contribution to project planning, estimation, and progress tracking
    • Experience in testing within the telematics area
    • Solid understanding of data flow from telematics device to IoT hub
    • Knowledge of setting up a Test Bench with minimal wiring
    • Experience in REST API testing using tools like Postman or JMeter
    • Experience in Client-server architecture for manual/automation testing
    • Additional proficiency in Embedded test automation
    • Proficient in tools like AzureDevOps, Jira, WinSCP, Putty, Linux, CANalyzer, Helios, J1939, CAN, LIN, Nexiq, Any CAN/LIN Simulator, SDS (Software Development Solutions), DLB (Diamond Logic Builder), Postman, JMeter, Splunk, Test Bench/Bed, Python
