    Job Description:


    GDIT is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to join our commodity source teams as part of our Supply Chain organization.

    This Sr. Analyst will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives.

    This team's responsibility includes procuring indirect materials in support of GDIT and direct procurement in support of our government customers.

    HOW A PROCUREMENT ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT


    • Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements
    • Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.
    • Management of RFQ/RFP's from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution
    • Completion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.
    • Ensures high internal customer satisfaction
    • Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    Education:
    High School Diploma with 9+ years of supply chain/business experience OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of related work experience

    Experience:

    3+ years in government procurement

    Required Technical

    Skills:

    Direct acquisition experience procuring in accordance with FAR

    Required Skills and Abilities:
    Experience negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers

    Required Skills and Abilities:
    Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company; ability to research, analyze, compile and assess business and financial data

    Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations

    The likely salary range for this position is $60,549 - $101,109. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.

    Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
