    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Knowledge Management Specialist II to join our team in the Stafford, VA

    Description:

    • The Knowledge Management Specialist II develops and implements knowledge management strategies within an organization
    They are tasked with identifying Technical Knowledge Assets (TKA) orphans and version inconsistencies; then creating or modifying processes and systems to ensure integrity, precedence, and prodigal relationships in the Digital Engineering Environment (DEE), knowledgebases, or both
    They find means and methods to capture and share knowledge and maintain an organized and accessible knowledgebase
    In addition, they may provide or ensure a logical underlying taxonomical, ontological, or terminological relationships of TKAs in a knowledge base
    They represent the technical requirements of the wider Knowledge Management Team to the Digital Engineering (DE) Team, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers
    They train employees on knowledge management methods, processes, and tools (MPT) and drive a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the constraints of security regulations
    They perform the tasks necessary to design, modify, manage, and implement the MPTs to track, catalog, file, and manage versions of TKAs
    They apply policies for diverse TKAs such as digitized technical documents, engineering diagrams, model elements, simulation animation files, videos of users screens during tests, etc
    Additionally, the specialist must stay updated on the latest knowledge management trends and technologies and adapt them to meet Maverick Program and mission partner needs
    They also consult with the DE Team, Systems Engineers, and the user community on the development of engineering databases, processes, and tools used on the Maverick Program
    They consult with Trainers and Subject Matter Experts to fulfill TDL responses and use of Service Design Packages (SDP) to design proposals and implement solutions
    They have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a Knowledge Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science/Engineering, or related Business, Education, or IT discipline.
    • 5 years of experience in developing, implementing, and managing lifecycles for Knowledge Management, Document Management, Content Management, Records Management, Online Library Management, or related fields

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Library Science or Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM), Certified Records Manager; Knowledge Management Institute, Certified Knowledge Specialist (CKS) Certification

    Clearance Requirements:

    • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance is required prior to starting this position.
    • Must be a US Citizen

    Physical Requirements:
    The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
    Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
