    Description

    Our client, one of the world's most prestigious hedge funds, is seeking to bring on a dynamic attorney to join their well built out legal team here in New York City. This opportunity overs immense growth potential while offering a hybrid work schedule and top of the market compensation.

    Primary responsibilities will include working closely with investment professionals to help develop and launch new investment vehicles, all while maintaining existing lines of business through the drafting, negotiating, and reviewing of fund-related documents.

    Requirements:

    • J.D. from a Top Law School
    • 3-7 years experience within the asset management space, preferably with Big Law training
    • Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, Investment Company Act of 1940, and a variety of other regulations
    • Fund formation or structuring experience
    • Passion for commercial and legal aspects of the asset management
