    Field Service Engineer – Romania & Hungary

    Client Company Overview:


    The client is a leading player in the rubber and polymer industries, known for their active involvement in industry standards committees and their innovative contributions to rheology testing instruments.


    Scope of the Role:
    Responsible for providing service, calibrations, emergency repairs, and installations of OEM instruments in northern Romania and Hungary.

    Important Information about the Role:
    It requires up to 60% overnight travel within Romania (85%) and Hungary (10%), occasionally to other countries.
    Home base in Romania, with frequent travel to Hungary and other regions.
    Expected to cover approximately 60,000 km/year by car.

    Key Requirements for the Ideal Candidate:
    Willingness to travel extensively by car.
    Experience in electrical or electro-mechanical fields preferred.
    Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
    Comfortable with overnight stays and proficient in English; knowledge of Romanian and Hungarian preferred.
    Technical maintenance experience is a plus.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Conduct CPMP procedures, troubleshoot instruments, and provide customer training.
    Maintain safety and quality standards.
    Contribute to revenue generation through service and parts sales.
    Schedule and execute service accounts promptly.
    Improve customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
    Support area sales manager and maintain professionalism in interactions.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in electronics or instrumentation preferred.
    Prior field service or technical support experience strongly preferred.
    Fluency in English required; Hungarian language knowledge beneficial.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    Self-motivated and disciplined.
