    ABOUT THIS ROLE
    St. Michael's is hiring a Physical Security Specialist to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. As the Physical Security Specialist, you will perform a variety of security management functions in support of the J2 Special Security Office (SSO) to include physical security. You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your previous experience observing/documenting findings and ensuring compliance with standard SCIF operating procedures IAW Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 705, IC Technical Specification for ICD/ICS 705
    Version or successor policy) and related policies. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will review, analyze and develop
    complex Construction Security Plans through the review of technical drawings, ensuring requirements are met for secure construction projects.

    MacDill AFB, Tampa FL. (100% On-site)

    REQUIREMENTS
    • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (current or with investigation deferral action within the last three (3) years)
    • Two years of experience with managing all the physical security aspects of the SCIF/TSCIF lifecycle from concept approval, developing and implementing a SCIF/T-SCIF construction security plan (CSP), completing, maintaining, updating, and submitting the Pre-Construction Checklist, Pre-Construction Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) and Pre-Construction TEMPEST Checklist to the final FFC and TEMPEST Checklist with TEMPEST Form B for accreditation and re-accreditation, and proper SCIF close-out procedures
    • Two years of experience with evaluating and processing approvals and accreditations for SCIFs/T-SCIF, Secure Working Areas (SWA), and Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWA) in a non-traditional environment to perform critical contingency tasks
    • High School diploma or GED
    • CDSE Physical Security Certification (PSC)
    • Office of the Director National Intelligence (ODNI) ICD 705 Physical Security Course
    • CDSE Introduction to Physical Security PY011.16
    • CDSE ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP SA501.16

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Perform a variety of security management functions in support of the J2 Special Security Office (SSO) to include physical security.
    • Open/close Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) as necessary with coordination by the SSO Physical Security Manager and POCs within the SCIF.
    • Perform random checks in support of the Special Security Office and observe/document findings and ensure compliance with standard SCIF operating procedures.
    • Perform inspections of SCIF construction projects, existing facilities and modification projects, make recommendations IAW DOD/IC policy with the end goal of achieving or maintaining appropriate accreditations.
    • Perform duties related to the completion and submission of pre/post construction Fixed Facility Checklists, TEMPEST Checklists and Construction Security Plans (CSP) for SCIFs as required.
