    The opportunity:

    WestRock is looking for a progressive, creative, Talent Acquisition Manager to lead hourly recruiting in assigned business function(s). This role is right for you if you want to be challenged to define, develop & implement recruitment strategy that will continue to fuel WestRocks growth. Youll be a Strategic Business Partner, Change Agent, & HR Business Partner all rolled into one

    How you will impact WestRock:

    • Collaborates with HR Business Partners to provide strategic support of business growth through workforce planning, position profiling, sourcing strategies, and consulting on selection & fit with a focus on hourly recruiting
    • Functions as an external employment market expert, advising on trends and availability of talent in identified markets as well as hiring needs and recruiting practices of talent competitors
    • Continues to innovate strategy by leveraging available tools to include social media, company website, job boards and team member ownership and engagement in process
    • Develops and executes recruiting strategies with emphasis on speed, quality, diversity, innovation, process efficiency and candidate and client experience
    • Effectively brands WestRock to candidates by providing compelling information about the companys strategy, capabilities, performance, and employment value proposition
    • Responsible for creating a positive client experience through successful management of the interview and selection process, which includes facilitation of strategic sourcing sessions, pre-interview calibrations, post-interview debriefs
    • Partners with teammates globally to facilitate sharing of regional knowledge and awareness of positions
    • Analyzes recruiting data and internal recruiting performance metrics to assess effectiveness & recommend improvements to the recruitment process, tools, or strategy

    What you need to succeed:

    • BA or BS degree in business, HR, or related field
    • Seven plus years of Corporate Recruiting or Agency experience
    • Proven experience with diversity recruiting strategies
    • Must possess strong business acumen and the ability to develop a deep understanding of strategic business priorities, success drivers in the organization, and understanding of the business model and functional operations
    • A broad understanding of various HR Delivery Models and ability to act as a steward to support various processes critical to the WestRock model
    • Ability to analyze data and synthesize research to make strategic recommendations balanced with sound judgment and ability to tailor solutions and tools appropriately to unique situations
    • Ability to influence stakeholders, clients, and candidates
