Job summary
The American Red Cross seeks volunteers in Bangor, ME to provide emergency response to local disasters. As a Disaster Action Team member you will take trainings to support families affected by emergencies and help connect them with resources for basic necessities.Responsibilities
- Take requires trainings to be equipped to support families/individuals who have been displace by local emergencies including severe storms, home fires, and more
- Sign up for on-call shifts to be available to respond if needed
- Show the utmost compassion and respect for all clients and maintain client confidentiality
