Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at PeopleReady of Conshohocken, PA.

Job Summary:
Cooks perform various duties in meal preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to customers. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing meals in a large-volume establishment, following food safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare meals in a timely and efficient manner
Sauté, grill, fry, and cook ingredients according to recipes
Chop, slice, and wash fruits and vegetables
Make salads, desserts, and complete meals
May create menus and follow established recipes
Assist with catering orders and prepare trays for customers
Clean the kitchen area, take out trash, mop floors, and wipe down the dining area as needed

Requirements:

Experience in a high-volume institutional environment
Good knife skills and knowledge of food preparation
Able to work all areas of the kitchen
Stand in kitchen environment for long periods of time
Background check required
