    The Senior Engineer, Automation will lead the day-to-day activities focused on the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise automation solutions, primarily leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA) via UiPath and the Power Platform suite of technology offerings.

    In this role, you will work closely with internal business and technology team members as well as external technology partners that support the A&F automation practice. Additional responsibilities include technical leadership of internal and external architects, developers, and support team members; oversight of proof-of-concept projects; and exploration of emerging technologies.

    What Will You Be Doing?
    • Work closely with organizational stakeholders, technology partners and other members of the Digital Engineering & Architecture team to ensure accurate solutions and timely completion of automation projects aligned with project KPIs;
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of automation COE roadmaps that align with overall strategy and business stakeholders' initiatives;
    • Follow agile-scrum software development methodology by participating in and leading the daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming and sprint retrospective meetings;
    • Manage multiple new project initiatives while prioritizing enhancements and change request tasks with a focus on quality and timeline;
    • Provide guidance and oversight to development team activities to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery;
    • Adept at analyzing existing workflows, documenting requirements, and designing efficient automated solutions.
    • Maintain supporting documentation and accuracy of scope for RPA solution and development;
    • Ensure that implementations meet required scalability and reliability standards for A&F digital operations;
    • Complete code and change ticket reviews to support successful code migrations;
    • Use critical thinking to investigate L1/L2 issues and solve/assign JIRA tickets for long-term problem resolution;
    • Analyze, diagnose, and solve any automation performance issues in conjunction with business partners and support teams throughout multiple applications and environments
    • Stay updated on RPA capabilities and advancements with an emphasis on UiPath and Power Automate;
    • Maintain awareness of business continuity plans and build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders;
    • Manage the day-to-day vendor relationships to optimize resources and platform utilization;
    • Research and implement new processes and technologies to enhance service quality.
    • Leverage UiPath & Power Automate platforms to develop high quality code that meets the performance, scalability & security standards of industry & A&F best practices.
    What Do You Need To Bring?
    • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field;
    • 4+ years of experience in a related field;
    • 3+ years of RPA development & support experience with popular RPA Tools (UiPath Preferred);
    • Strong programming language experience creating custom scripts, API integrations, and DB queries in Python, C#, VB, and/or Java;
    • Proficient in database and data manipulation (SQL, NoSQL) for extraction, transformation, and manipulation integrations;
    • Experience in API integrations into RPA workflows;
    • Experience with Agile methodologies and working with cross-functional teams;
    • Strong SDLC experience including analysis, design, unit test, system test, deployment and production support;
    • Excellent documentation skills
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities;
    • Critical thinker with the ability to develop completely new problem-solving approaches and formulate innovative solutions;
    • Ability to communication and present to both technical and non-technical internal audiences;
    • Ability to rapidly learn new software and maintain competency with technologies;
    • Personal Attributes: Collaborative, Innovative, Solution Oriented, Strong Work Ethic
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of RPA development & support experience in Power Platform;
    • Test Automation, Task/Process/Communication Mining, and CDP/IDP experience;
    • Retail experience;
    • UI Path Certification(s)
