It is vital that an individual in this position be capable of good communication skills. It is of the utmost importance that written communication is legible.
Job duties of this position may require access to protected patient information (PHI).
The team member will be accountable for appropriate use of the record and compliance with all confidentiality and security policy and procedures related to use, access, and disclosure of PHI.
*REPORTING RELATIONSHIP*The LPN reports to the Physician and the supervisor or administrator of the clinic. Must communicate with provider at all times.*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*Graduate of approved school of nursing and currently licensed to practice in the appropriate state.
CONTINUING EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
a) Obtains 12 hours educational credit.
b) Verbalizes understanding of Shared Governance and willingly participates on committee, task force, or project to improve patient care or work area when asked.
c) Attends 75% of staff meetings and reads 25% of staff meetings missed.
