- Screens Children's Hospital patients for nutrition risk.
- Provides patient calorie count calculations
- Calculates and prepares infant formulas and assembles enteral/tube feedings.
- Works with patients, nursing, and dietitians to resolve patient nutrition related issues.
- Documents all necessary dietary and patient information accordingly.
- Maintains a high level of patient satisfaction and quality assurance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate's or Vocational degree in Dietetics from a program accredited by Commission of Dietetics Education (CADE) or at least two years towards a four year degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at an accredited college or university required
- 0 to 2 years of diet technician experience
- 2 to 5 years in a diet office as a diet clerk

Job Description:
Assists with the service of food and nutritional programs in the Nutrition Services department. This position provides screening and nutritional assessment for Children's Hospital patients and works with patients, dietitians, and nursing staff to ensure patients receive accurate meal service, infant formula and enteral nutrition.
