    *Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated *On-Road Field Service Technician* to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide *on-site service, maintenance, and repairs* for skid loaders, compact track loaders, excavators, and related equipment. You'll represent SkidLoadersPlus in the field, working directly with customers to diagnose issues, make repairs, and ensure equipment is operating at peak performance.

    *Key Responsibilities:

    • Travel to customer sites in a fully equipped service truck to perform equipment diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
    • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
    • Perform inspections, adjustments, and part replacements.
    • Accurately document service work, parts used, and labor hours.
    • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair work and offering equipment care recommendations.
    • Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and adhere to all safety procedures.
    *Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of experience in equipment repair, diesel mechanics, or a related field (skid loaders and compact equipment experience preferred).
    • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with hydraulics, engines, and electrical systems.
    • Ability to work independently in the field and manage time effectively.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL not required).
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus).

    Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
