    Job Title: Mailing Operations Clerk


    The Postal Service has a variety of job openings, from entry level to management positions. These roles exist in most or all departments and include administrative, general office, and clerical functions.



    • Clerks sell stamps, take incoming mail, sort and distribute the mail in addition to other clerical functions.

    • This position assists the public with general mailing needs such as completing a change of address, mail holds giving out post office box keys etc.

    The Postal Service operates over 30 thousand post office locations delivering more than 170 billion pieces of mail annually using one of the largest vehicle fleets in the world consisting primarily right-hand drive vehicles for easier delivery.
