- Attend work regularly and adhere to assigned shifts

- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and communicate effectively with patients

- Coordinate care with nursing staff and case managers
- Respond to calls and provide medical consultation services as needed
- Maintain required licenses, attend meetings, and participate in quality improvement processes
- Assist with disaster response and continuity of operations as assigned
- Knowledge of evidence-based medical treatment practices
- Proficiency in medical diagnostics and treatment tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

- Current Texas Medical License
- Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred

The Physician II position entails working part-time at the Rio Grande State Center (RGSC) OUTPATIENT ADULT MEDICAL Clinic (OPC), offering flexibility for those seeking a Work-Life Balance close to South Padre Island. In this role, you will provide outpatient medical care to underserved individuals in the Rio Grande Valley. Scheduled clinic services involve seeing 8-10 patients per 1/2 day between 8-5, Monday through Friday, with no clinics on nights, weekends, or holidays. You will also be responsible for rotating Phone OnCall duties after hours, maintaining electronic documentation, and collaborating with a team to ensure patients receive the care they need.
