    Job Summary

    Performs human resources activities, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, training and employee support. Works with site HRBP's and divisional HR team to provide consistent, professional HR support to the organization.

    Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Administers human resources policies, procedures, contract, reporting in compliance with state and federal regulation and Nidec Corporate Human Resources
    • Provides onboarding training and in coordination with HRBP Leaning and Development provides support for full employee life cycle training and development
    • Conducts new hire orientation with benefits information
    • Prepares and delivers presentations regarding human resources and employee relations topics
    • Location contact for various Leave programs. Responsible for Leave administration tracking and reporting and follow up with Leave Service provider
    • Location contact for benefit questions and employee support including making changes, ordering new cards and enrolling in benefits
    • Updates HRIS and Kronos as appropriate and as required. Utilizes data from HRIS and Kronos to administer class hours, attendance bonus, FMLA, etc.
    • Administers self-funded benefits plan per the summary plan descriptions
    • Termination letters and exit interviews for manufacturing employees and any other documentation as required by location and/or state regulation
    • Assist with badge entry security system including printing badges and updating database
    • Administer HR programs such a tuition reimbursement, Service Awards, etc.
    • Engage with workforce; provide information as needed
    • Coordinates or assists in coordinating Company sponsored functions for employees
    • Participates in safety and health initiatives
    • Provide HR related support as required

    Experience/Skills:

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing required. Experience administering a labor contract strongly preferred
    • Requires a strong client focus, business acumen and results orientation; both as a strategic thinker and as a tactician
    • Requires high level of attention to detail. Strong ability to listen carefully, research diligently and respond precisely
    • Proven ability to identify key issues and develop creative solutions and the ability to drive processes across the organization
    • Must have demonstrated leadership, project management, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
