    Job Description

    Century Group is collaborating with a client in search of a Cost Accountant to join their team for a Hybrid role.

    Exact compensation can vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary ranges from $80,000 to $95,000 per year.



    Job Responsibilities:

    • Prepare month-end journal entries and financial reports.
    • Analyze monthly product line performance to plan.
    • Preparation of annual budgets, and periodic forecasts.
    • Assess adequacy of reserves for both inventory and warranty.
    • Review inventory transactions before posting to the general ledger.
    • Administration of product group, part class, and general ledger posting control tables.
    • Prepare inventory capitalization schedules.
    • Address operations personnel queries on transaction handling within ERP system.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalent combination of education and training.
    • 3-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing company with cost accounting background.
    • Familiarity with Epicor software and ability to create report queries preferred, but not obligatory.
    • System integration familiarity is beneficial.
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
