- Benefits Administration and Compliance Management
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.
- Facilitate benefits enrollment processes, educating employees on available options and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Address employee inquiries regarding benefits, claims, and eligibility.
- Stay current with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and practices align with legal requirements.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies, particularly those related to benefits and compliance.
- Conduct sessions for employees and managers on benefits programs, compliance requirements, and HR policies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records related to benefits administration and compliance efforts.
- Prepare reports and documentation for audits or regulatory purposes.
- Collaborate with external benefits providers, legal counsel, and regulatory agencies as necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and external vendors for benefits-related matters.
- Compensation Management
- Administer and maintain compensation programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, and incentive programs.
- Conduct market research to ensure the organization's compensation practices remain competitive.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement salary adjustment and incentive plans.
- Other HR duties, as needed
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Comprehensive understanding of HR functions and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks without guidance
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information
- Highly computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite products and related business and communication tools
