    Position Summary:

    Our Award Winning Client is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join their dynamic team. As a key member, you will perform diagnostic testing on patient samples utilizing advanced technical skills to aid physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring of various disease states. Additionally, you will undertake any other tasks assigned by Management.

    Job Skills and Technical Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science OR Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological science OR Associate's degree in another discipline with documented chemistry and biology hours that satisfy CLIA requirements for high complexity testing personnel.
    • Certifications: BLS required upon hire.
    • Minimum 1 year as Medical Technologist (MT) required.
    • Medical Laboratory Scientist certification by ASCP or AMT, or HEW(MT), or equivalent certification is required within one year from date of hire. Training/Certification prior to 1988 -Certification program or Military training, ASCP or HEW certification is accepted.
    Nice-To-Haves:
    • 3 years' experience as MT/MLT
    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct diagnostic testing on patient samples with precision and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate results.
    • Maintain laboratory equipment and perform quality control procedures.
    • Participate in continuing education to stay updated on advancements in the field.
    • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
    Shift: Nights hours shift.
