RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TAX MANAGER:

• Leading, managing and mentoring staff
• Engaging directly with clients and senior management, developing and managing professional client relationships
• Be responsible for a client base and assuring high quality service is delivered
• Reviewing tax returns and other deliverables
• Preparing more complex tax returns, tax projections, research and more
• Desire to grow technical skills through diverse engagements
• Build relationships with clients and community contacts and contribute significantly to the ongoing development efforts of the firm

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TAX MANAGER:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA license with 5+ years of recent public accounting experience
• Experience in business and personal taxes, and financial statement standards
• Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks, UltraTax, Go File Room, Right Networks, Thompson Reuters &/or Adobe a plus.
• Valuation or Trust & Estate experience a plus
