JOB TITLE: Warehouse Associate at Blue Bird

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lift a minimum of 50 pounds by hand
Operate electric or propane PITs
Update inventory transactions utilizing hand held bar code scanners
Count and separate parts as needed

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Notify Cell Leaders of any issues
Operate within standard operating procedures and job safety analysis
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Participate in daily safety department meetings
Demonstrate good hand-eye coordination
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Follow written and verbal instructions
Adapt to changes in the work environment

EDUCATION, SKILLS, & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
Pass criminal background check, drug screen, and physical assessment
Obtain Blue Bird PIT Certification
Previous PIT experience is required

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work both inside and outside a manufacturing environment
Exposure to heat, cold, noise, and fumes
Fast-paced environment with moving objects and sharp edges
Physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching overhead, and lifting

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:

Meet quality and production standards
Complete annual Fork Lift Certification Training Program
Maintain good housekeeping
Wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE)
Adhere to attendance policy and work overtime when necessary
Perform assigned duties and tasks
