    As the Senior Manager Digital Merchandising, you will play an important role as part of Tencent Games Strategic Partners leadership team, reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Partners Console/PC.

    Overview

    Our Strategic Partners team is looking for an experienced Senior Manager Digital Merchandising to drive our e-commerce, storefront and CRM strategy for games, updates, and other content across all PC and Console platforms. You will work with teams across Level Infinite, Tencent IEG Global (Production, Operations, Marketing, Comms), and our external development studios to oversee and coordinate game assets spanning early access, launch and post-launch content. You will act as a primary point of contact for platform-specific promotions, events and showcases and an expert on what makes their audiences tick. You will also work with first party partners to coordinate the setup of products and help inform our global pricing strategy, discounting and lifecycle management. We are looking for someone who can apply significant experience within the Games as a Service sector to define, guide, and create team processes, pipelines, and deliveries.

    Responsibilities:

    • You will lead our merchandising efforts, responsible for designing seamless player journeys across multiple digital channels, identifying merchandising strategies to promote acquisition, engagement and help achieve Level Infinite digital sales targets across PC and consoles, globally
    • Lead team to successfully manage display space on e-tail sites, digital storefronts and partner programs, to maximize the reach and visibility of content and its relevance to each player segment, including personalizing content, pricing, and promotions
    • Oversee and support team resources, defining workload needs and ensuring its fair distribution
    • Work with internal partners, such as marketing, production, commercial, operations and analytics to establish successful working frameworks for the merchandising strategy
    • Work with external partners, such as PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and Epic to negotiate and implement merchandising plans and representation across their digital channels
    • Identify, test and learn opportunities for new merchandising strategies to improve digital experience, value, and performance
    • Work with peers and leadership to drive merchandising innovation and platform evolution
    • Provide weekly and monthly updates to leadership on merchandising performance across all our accounts' digital channels
    • Other relevant duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 6+ years of experience in marketing campaigns, eCommerce, or product launch in the gaming or digital entertainment industry
    • Proven expertise supporting the release of GaaS based content across PC and console platforms
    • Managed a team, directly or dotted line, that successfully delivered cross-functional projects
    • Managed external and internal relationships with senior interactions, building mutually beneficial relationships with partners
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills adapted for a global remit
    • Experience designing and optimizing digital consumer journeys/experiences and associated merchandising processes
    • Can maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information
    • Flexibility and willingness to work odd hours as needed to support our development studios around the world and in multiple time zones
    • An enthusiasm and passion for games and the games industry, with a general understanding of the game development and release process
