    Established, highly reputable oil workover rig company, servicing NE Wyoming, has an opportunity for you contribute to the strategic development of this organization.     Reporting to the shop manager, the purchasing agent will be responsible for executing procurement transactions on behalf of an organization, while assisting the shop manager as necessary.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    Must possess a valid Wyoming State Issued Driver's License to pick up/deliver material up at rig sites.

    Price shop, purchase and maintain inventory on parts and consumables from vendors regularly.

    Inform shop manager when parts are needed. Advise the Director of Operations regarding major purchases.

    Obtain price updates on a regular basis and verify purchase orders with vendors for all payment approvals.

    Provide tool pushers with PO numbers for parts or consumables and will call pickups.

    Handle all core part return on a regular basis.

    Assist in the shop as needed and instructed.

    Essential Qualifications:

    Strong knowledge of the automotive and oil field heavy equipment Industry.

    A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    One (1) – three (3) years' previous experience as a buyer or purchaser.

    Detail oriented with strong analytical, negotiation, and math skills.

    Excellent judgement and decision-making skills.

    Strong interpersonal communications skills, a can-do attitude, positive, helpful, and energetic.

    Must be punctual, responsible, and ambitious, with a strong character with enthusiasm and sense of urgency.

    Able to work on your feet for 8 Hr. shift and OT as required.

    Dexterity of hands to perform the tasks required of the position.

    Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.

    Climb ladders of varying heights and Lift moderate to heavy objects up to 60 lbs.
