    We're currently the top business software in the Pool, Hot Tub and Hearth industries and we're quickly expanding to additional industries.

    Here's a snapshot of what we want you to do:

    The Software Product Owner is responsible for supporting the product management team and software developers in developing and launching new products and features and managing the development workflow of said team(s).

    This includes gathering and analyzing product requirements, conducting market research, and working with engineers to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.

    The Product Owner also plays a crucial role in communicating with customers and stakeholders to meet their needs.

    Here's what you'll be doing day to day:
    Conduct market research, including direct communication with clients, prospects, and other company members.
    Translate research into business requirements and utilitarian features that help the businesses we serve in measurable ways.

    Ensure that our products help businesses streamline their day-to-day, specifically via time savings achieved by reduced steps for each business process.

    Work with developers to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.
    Review the scope of projects to establish deadlines, which are geared around key market dates.
    Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience & reduce clicks.
    Recommend the prioritization of new features & ER (enhancement request) development.
    Develop and execute product plans and specifications.
    Track and analyze product performance and make recommendations for improvement.
    Identify and mitigate risks.
    Collaborate with developers to ensure product functionality.
    Prepare reports and give presentations on project updates.
    Create and develop new product ideas based on current and projected marketing trends.
    Work alongside the Lead Product Manager, other Product Owners, and stakeholders to help products achieve their visions.
    Monitor project funding to increase profit and reduce losses.
    Monitor and report on users' reactions after launching and make recommendations for future enhancements.
    Analyze client and customer feedback to determine the next steps for a product.
    Coordinate with marketing team members to showcase new features in marketing materials.
    Collaborate with QA to test all products and features for quality assurance and ensure market readiness.
    Stay informed about industry advancements and evolving methodologies in product management.
    Required Education and Experience
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    5 or more years of industry experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner.
    3 or more years of experience working with software development within the PO/PM capacity.
    Preferred Education and Experience
    Experience making data-driven decisions and managing projects from concept to go live.
    Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    Technically savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
    This is a full-time position with expected workdays of Monday through Friday. Work hours are generally 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility for alternate hours at manager discretion. The employee may also be required to work extended hours or weekends in order to meet deadlines or travel.

    The hired applicant will be offered pay within the compensation range based on their qualifications and professional experience, as well as the needs of our business.
