- Working knowledge of networking concepts, Routing / Switching, Operating Systems technologies, cybersecurity technologies, IP, Advanced Protocols, LAN and WAN
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Server versions 2012 to most recent, Microsoft Active Directory, and O365/Exchange
- Working knowledge of server and desktop / laptop operating systems - such as Windows Server 2012 to 2022, and desktop / laptop operating systems such as Windows 10 and 11
- VMware 6.5+ experience configuring and managing virtual servers
- Associate degree in Computer Science (BS preferred) and/or equivalent technical certification with a minimum of 4 to 5 years of proven System Administrator experience
- Industry-recognized technical certification such as a Microsoft MCSE, Network+, Server+ or A+ preferred but not required
- Working technical knowledge and experience with LAN, WAN
- Working technical knowledge and experience with Windows desktop and laptop operating systems
- Working technical knowledge and experience with Windows Server operating systems and associated services (DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, AD Admin Tools)
- Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including hardware RAID, Active Directory, and TCP/IP
