Who You'll Be Collaborating With:
Every day, you'll be teaming up with a diverse, enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team of creative minds who take pride in supporting their clients' mission and building strong collaborative relationships.
You will be teaming up with fellow Senior Business Analysts, Appian Developers, Technical Leads, Testers, and clients as part of an Agile team to solve challenging business problems.
What You'll Be Helping Achieve:
You will be a critical member of the Agile team supporting the new development, modernization, and maintenance of a highly visible application for one of our federal government clients.
As a leader on the team, you will be developing relationships with clients and the development team to communicate information, elicit requirements, and help drive the development process.
What You'll Be Working On:
Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand their pain points, define their requirements, and create user stories
Lead sprint ceremonies such as sprint planning, sprint estimation, backlog refinement, end of sprint demos, and retrospectives
Build strong relationships with product owners, stakeholders, and fellow Agile team members to facilitate information exchange throughout the sprints to ensure adherence to user stories and best practices
Update and develop training documentation such as user guides and videos
Document discussions in various meetings to ensure key points, decisions, and action items are captured
Required Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Must be willing and able to work EST hours
Minimum of 3 years working as a business analyst as part of a software development team
Curious mindset where you enjoy the challenge of understanding and resolving issues
Self-starter who takes initiative and can lead development efforts from initiation to implementation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills where you can easily tailor your message based on your audience
Preferred Experience:
Prefer to have Agile experience including a certification such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, etc.
Prefer to have experience working on an Appian development team and/or experience with grants management or financial systems
Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $94,714.00 to $133,735.00NOTE:
