    Description:Musts - mig welding, flux-core welding, blueprint reading, laying out parts, fitting upPlus - Weld certifications1st shift - 5:00am to 3:30 M-Th Friday will be used as OT if needed.2nd shift - 2:45pm to 1:45am Monday thru Thursday*Candidates needs to be open to either shift preferably.

    • Weld test – What type of weld test is performed? (as many details as possible would be great)o Is there a different weld test for the structural welders? (as many details as possible would be great if it's different)? Typical weld tests for any department is a two F single pass 1⁄4" and triple pass 5/16"
    • This would be hard wire carbon in assembly, hard wire stainless and hard wire flux carbon in the stainless department, and hard wire and flux core in structural Typical tests are 0.45 for hard wire and 1/16" for flux.
    • Any written test (blueprints, tape measure, etc)?o Yes there is a written test including weld symbols, tape measure, weld deformities
    • PPE/Tools required?o Qty 2 24" framing squareso Qty 1 8" framing squareo Qty 1 rafter squareo Qty 1 hammero Qty 1 25' tape Company suppliedo Qty 1 100' steel tapeo Qty1 9" torpedo levelo Qty 1 string lineo Steel toed boots (no met guards required)
    • How many people could the team realistically start each week?o Two qualified welders that will require minimal training
    • First shift hours?o 5:00-3:30 We are working on a flex program now that a person can start between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00
    • 2ND shift hours?o 3:30-2:30 I believe
    • Is there a shift differential?o Yes $1.00
    • How much OT is being worked right now on average?o Mandatory 45 hours per week up to 55 if desired
