    Job Responsibilities


    The Systems Architects Engineering Leader's core focus will be to help drive Radio Systems Top Level Architectures, Communication Systems Analysis focusing RF section, Over-the-Air (OTA) considerations, full system integration with other elements of the final OEM equipment, strategic alignment with industry and standard bodies, product roadmaps, design methodology, product design goals, commercial/technical product partitioning, and improve performance differentiation through architectural innovations.

    • Each segment (Connectivity, Automotive, IoT, Cellular Infrastructure) systems architect should be able to compose systems level simulation resulting in budget analysis of each building block (within the product and along the RF chain). The results will shape our deep understanding of requirements trade-offs and form a strategic technical roadmap.
    • Deliverables consist of Top Level Architecture, system analysis using circuit level simulation tools as well as the circuit level models. The simulation blocks are not limited to RF building blocks, also involves PMIC, antenna elements, RFIC and environmental radiation components.
    • Understands necessary wireless communication standards and certification.
    • The knowledge base needs extension to digital control interfaces and even redefining new set of scenarios that assist our product partitioning
    • Support various customer interface activities including RFIs and Technology Alignment tasks

    Qualifications

    • A proven leadership position in a group of diversified business
    • MSEE or related engineering degree required.
    • Minimum 15 years of experience in RF Engineering.
    • Experience with 5G cellular infrastructure, PA, SiP Design, Analog, Mixed Signal Design.
    • Master level of utilizing design tools such as Pathfinder, Matlab and Lab Automation integrated with simulation environment.
    • Deep understanding of various wireless communication standards and building blocks such as LNA, PA, Switches, Transceivers, antenna structures within massive MIMO environment.
    • Grasp fully non-linear behaviors of RF blocks and circuit level performance trade-offs between system level requirements
    • Experience of the product development lifecycle.
    • BAW & SAW filter experience
    • Ability to solve critical problems and anticipate short and long-term business demands.

    The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $175,400 - $367,500 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
