    Opportunity:

    RN - Cath Lab

    Job Details:


    • Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

    • On-call required with average of 8-10 call shifts per month including 1 full weekend of coverage

    • Must have 2 years of experience specifically in cath lab (IR only experience not accepted)

    • Must have experience in both Cath Lab and IR Lab

    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS

    • EPIC charting system experience required

    • NY license required in hand to submit

    • Must accept first-time travelers

    • 40 hours of orientation provided

    • Scrubs are provided

    • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

    • Perform interventional cardiac procedures, special procedures, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations

    • Handle IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, PCI procedures, angioplasty

    • Manage IR procedures including biopsies, drain placements, embolizations

    • Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients

    • Circulate procedures and maintain infection prevention protocols

    • Work in 2-room unit with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy

The facility features state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support complex cardiac and vascular procedures. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and offers extensive support services including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
