- Precision and Quality Control: Ensure workpieces meet exact specifications and maintain quality control throughout the machining process.
- Machine Setup and Operation: Mount, align, and secure tools and workpieces, oversee machine operations, and make necessary adjustments.
- Program Execution: Insert and modify control instructions, read blueprints, and set machine operations.
- Tool and Machine Maintenance: Change and maintain cutting tools, perform daily cleaning, and light maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Safety and Collaboration: Adhere to ISO and AS9100 requirements, maintain a safe workspace, and collaborate with supervisors and programmers to resolve issues.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience or education in CNC machining.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in G-code programming, tool wear offsets, and the use of various measuring instruments.
