Infrastructure Solutions Architect - Dallas, United States - TEKsystems

Must work W2Hybrid Work Schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Location:
Dallas, TX
Infrastructure Solutions Architects will be responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure solutions for our client. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of technologies, including networking, Linux, Windows, Middleware, and Active Directory.
The job duties will include:
Working with the client to understand the business requirements
Translating the business requirements into technical requirements
Identifying and working with subject matter experts to design a solution that meets the business requirements
Creating high-level and low-level designs using Visio and Adobe
Understanding and following architecture standards
Identifying and addressing any non-standard products
Working closely with the Chief Engineer and Capacity Planner to determine the hosting location and size of the solution
Identifying and managing risks, assumptions, and key decisions that could impact the design
Communicating status and updates to the Technology Project Manager
Working with Supply Chain Management to obtain quotes for hardware
Obtaining signoff from stakeholders on the design and cost
Maintaining and updating the design deliverables in the project repository
