    Make a difference in the lives of caregivers and healthcare professionalsCareAcademy is looking for skilled subject matter experts (SMEs) who will research, author, and review content for online learning courses covering a breadth of roles and topics.

    This role will work on a project basis to support the Content and Quality Department in creating thoroughly researched and accurate content.

    The SMEs will partner with CareAcademy's instructional designers to create compliant, accurate, effective, and enjoyable interactive learning solutions.
    This is a fully remote Contractor/1099 role with as-needed hours based on project scope.


    What you'll do:
    Collaborate with the instructional designer to develop appropriate learning objectives and an outline for the learning solutionParticipate in a preliminary kickoff call with the Instructional Designer (and other team members) and follow-up calls as neededLocate, utilize, and cite reputable sources for assigned content topicsProduce well-researched instructional content for use in CareAcademy's training contentAdhere closely to CareAcademy's editorial and instructional styleDistill complex topics into content that is accessible to a diverse audienceReview storyboards, scripts, test questions, fully developed lessons, and other assets as needed for content accuracyDeliver assigned content and edits and respond to queries in a timely mannerWe're looking for someone with:Strong subject matter expertise in any of the following content areas (list subject to change)

    Senior living dining services and hospitalityFamily caregivingHome CareHome HealthNursing/Nursing AssistanceHospice careAn educational background in the respective content area. This may include a nursing degree or bachelor's degree in a relevant fieldPassion for adult education and a desire to make a difference in the long-term care industryExcellent research and writing skills to locate credible sources and craft well-organized and accurate contentEffective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with instructional designersEnglish fluencyNice to have:
